RIPT Furniture is the creation of Kat & Ben. They have developed RIPT into their small family business, hand-building timber dog crates as buffet units and also other furniture in Langwarrin, Victoria, Australia.
Ben has always had a passion for working with timber, he has a great mind for designing projects and creating them with his ongoing passion. He has wonderful attention to detail and developed skills and expertise from when he started playing and experimenting with timber as a hobby back in his teen years.
When their kids were younger & they lived in Tyabb VIC, Ben & Kat would spend their weekends out in the entertaining area creating unique pieces of timber furniture and displays for their own use or to gift to family and friends. They did this just for the joy of handcrafting wood and experiencing the wealth of tools available.
Handcrafted items are perfect for your home, office, or outdoor area. Each piece crafted is based on classical training but created with modern techniques, so each build is truly one-of-a-kind.
This isn't just a job, but a passion for Kat & Ben, and they are grateful every day to be able to create works of art from your ideas. They use only the finest materials when creating new pieces and whenever possible, source materials locally by seeking out businesses with an environmental sustainability policy.
